In spite of that, I wish Taiwan could have more public toilets like that! Sometimes you like to imply things. The thing I like about Japan, is the concept of “Time and Place.” When you try to imply meaning, the Japanese will not say anything, but just ignore you. When you try to demand attention, they will ignore you even more and just say that you are rude and dishonorable. So leave Japan alone, or they will explain why you cannot respect the notion of “Time and Place.” When you are rude and disrespectful in Japan, your life has no meaning or value. The people worrying about how much other people can see don't understand Japanese manners. Even if they could see everything, it would be considered the height of rudeness to OPENLY notice it. Pretending not to notice things that could be embarrassing to others is considered polite....and embarrassing yourself to the extent that it can't be ignored (shouting in anger instead of controlling yourself, for instance) is considered extremely rude.
