We can’t have a divided country where we leave behind and penalise the non-vaccinated. We shouldn’t look at them as idiots but instead try to maximise uptake. We don’t need 100% vaccination of all adults. And once most adults have been vaccinated the whole Covid problem should be reduced to a much smaller issue. I wear a mask and will take the vaccine but I also recognise that it’s a complex multi-faceted emotive issue and for many they can’t or won’t have the vaccine. That’s their free choice and it’s their right. Exercising their free right should not mean they have other fundamental rights taken away so they can’t function in society. There’s too much division with this Covid. A tough luck attitude to those who don’t want the vaccine is unhelpful. Not everyone agrees with every rule the government introduces. Objecting does not make them idiots.
